Survey Methodology

Optum members are surveyed within 7-10 days after they have successfully completed a CMC program or have reached their annual anniversary of enrollment in their program. 

Areas of assessment include:

  • Quality of care received
  • Satisfaction with the RN
  • Health and productivity outcomes  

Surveys are conducted via an objective, independent third-party party vendor*.

*Beginning January 2015 Optum will be transitioning from GfK Custom Research Inc. to Burke as our survey vendor.

Patient Satisfaction

Patients have great things to say about the health care they received through their experience with Optum and Centers of Excellence providers. A survey conducted in the third quarter of 2014 found 97% of patients satisfied with their overall health care services.
